Mrs. Donnelly was a vice-president of the New York State AFL-CIO and its predecessor for a total of fifty years. She was longtime chairman of its education committee. She retired after forty years with the New York City Board of Education, where her last position was executive secretary to its Advisory Board on Vocational Education.
